Gyan Talk!
How I wish an Organisation should be run? In the next few posts, I shall discuss my dream organisation and goals and objectives for the org. The first thing to start with is
1) Meetings should last only for nanoseconds or milliseconds unless and until there are pressing issues to discuss. Having observed meetings which mar the productivity of employees, i wish there were no meeting rooms in my organisation!
2) Talk less to the seniors and interact more to Juniors. Juniors present a better picture as they would have a fresh mind and would be the ultimate point of delegation of work. so they would know more about the complexities of the work. Seniors would be complacent (?!)
3) Donot bill the client for 8 hours in a day when a human being could truly work only for 4 - 5 hours (EFFICIENTLY) in a day. See to it that during recruitment itself, right people are chosen for the right job unlike "any person for any work" kind of attitude which prevails present s/w industry
4) Try avoiding words like "seamless", "fyi", "cool", Road Map", "Approach Document", "Brainstorming" and most funny of all "Status Update"...
5) The Manager could go down to the bays and talk to people for a minute or two and get updates of what is happening with them instead of calling everyone to a meeting room and making them feel hecked for the next hour or so!

News channels and papers are a lot busy nowadays. Two weeks back they had Veerappan's Story and this week they have Kanchi Mutt's! There is something or the other to spice up their columns and programmes.
Kanchi Sankara's behaviour was shocking and revealing the connexions he had! It's always better to believe in God and to not believe in people who presume themselves to be messengers of God. The sanctity of the Mutt is in a great trouble :( God is great!
An interesting note:
In google if we search for Indian cities, the number of links coming up gradually decreases with the popularity of the city! Mumbai and Delhi rule the numbers list followed by Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and other cities! See how the cyber space reflects the 3D space!
